It was kind of startling for us to see the house without the huge trees in front. At first Ben and I panicked and thought, "should we have done this??". But with some new bushes and plants, and a smaller tree, the house will look cheerful and new. One thing we found was that after removing the trees, we saw that the front porch has not been painted in a long time! This might be an upcoming project....one of many!
